After fifty years without a synagogue, a new one was established in in the city of Bendery in the Transnistria region of Moldova, in memory of the Rebbe from Rivnitz, Beit Chaim Zvill Chabad whose city of residence was close by to Benady # A beautiful new Chesed Center was inaugurated in Chisinau as the event was graced by the presence of Israel’s ambassador to the country of Moldova, Mr. Yoel Leon and local Leaders.

The course was given by Rabbi Gideon ben Moshe, Rosh Kollel of Bait Hora’ah and head of the Rabbinical court for monetary matters in Jerusalem; Rabbi Yitzchak Guggenheim, Chief Rabbi of Paris and member of Rabbinical Council of Europe; Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Kahn, member of the Lubavitch Rabbinical Court in Paris, and member of the Rabbinical Council of Europe; Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Raskin, Dayan and Posek for the Lubavitch Community and Kedassia- London, and a member of the Presidium of the Rabbinic Council of Europe; Rabbi Shlomo Tobaly, Rosh Kollel Beit Hananiah in Paris , Dayan and a member of the Rabbinic Council of Europe; and Dr. Claude Shealy.

23 members of the Presidium and Council of the RCE came for a historic visit to Eretz Hakodesh * The Rebbes and Roshei Yeshivah they visited were impressed by the scope of their activities for Diaspora Jewry * The Rabbis called to amend the Law of Return.

The council meeting of the Rabbinical Centre of Europe discusses European governments’ decision to force students to attend general studies in the morning albeit privately owned educational institutions.

The Professional Rabbinical Forum in collaboration with the consistoire of Paris at the spacious Jewish Center • Major Halachic issues were discussed during the seminar together with Rabbis from Eretz Yisrael.

The European Chesed Center in Tbilisi, initiated by the RCE, added up to the 26th center inaugurated in the past two years • The RCE is vigorously aiming to reach 50 branches in the European Jewish communities.

Senior Dayanim from participated in The European Dayanim Conference held by The Rabbinical Centre of Europe • The conference included a full 2-day schedule and the theme was ‘The Ukraine Challenge: Changes and Consequences Faced by Batei Din’

The conference in Budapest, Hungary, was organized by the Rabbinical Centre of Europe and presented many practical halachic issues that concern Rabbis and Kashrut organizations throughout Europe.

Climatic tearful moments during the Bar/Bat Mitzvah trip to Israel for a Jewish experience led by the Morasha division of the RCE • The highlight was a Bar Mitzvah celebration at the Western Wall as pairs of tefillin were distributed to the boys.

The RCE inaugurated another “European Chesed Centre” in Zagreb, Croatia. The new branch will loan an array of medical equipment and baby equipment to residents, worth tens of thousands of Euros.

At the inauguration ceremony of the new chesed center in Bucharest, opened by the Rabbinical Centre of Europe, the head of the country’s emergency department surprised the participants by promising to promote cooperation on health issues.
