The Efrat Association, whose aim is to arouse awareness in the Jewish world of the importance of prevention of abortions, has joined forces with the Rabbinical Centre of Europe in order to inform the European public of their activities.


Efrat enjoys the blessings and support of our great Torah leaders who support and encourage its activities. The mutual cooperation has received the blessing of theRCE Rabbinical Committee members.

For the purpose of the joint publicity campaign, aCD/DVD has been especially produced for European Rabbis, preceded by blessings and greetings from the RCE Rabbinical Committee: Rabbi Avraham Yafe-Schlesinger, Rabbi of Machzikei Hadass Geneva and of Betzel Hachochma in Jerusalem; Rabbi Dovid Moshe Lieberman, Rabbi of Shomrei Hadass in Antwerp; Rabbi Yirmiyah Menachem Kohen, Head of Paris Jewish Court, and more. TheCD/DVD and explanatory leaflet were sent to every Rabbi and community in Europe.

A special session was held during the seminar in Madrid, with the participation of Dr. Eliahu Schussheim and Rabbi Chagai Goldschmidt, Director of Efrat. Amongst other things, it was decided to arrange a series of workshops for Rabbinates which would serve as the base for Efrat volunteers in Europe.
