In a heart-felt appeal to Torah-true communal rabbis throughout the countries of Europe, Rabbi Yitzchok Reuven Rubin, Rabbi of Bowdon Cheshire in England and member of the Rabbinical Council of Europewas signature to a recent letter launching the centre’s newest undertaking: a newsletter aiming to support rabbis serving communities throughout the continent.

As multifaceted service provider for the European rabbinical establishment, the centre stands at the crossroads of current discourse and phenomena effecting rabbis throughout the European Jewish community. The newsletter, intended as a forum for the writings and dialogue of its intended readership, aspires to provide Europe’s Torah-true communal rabbi with “a sense of belonging, a setting in which he can seek support on all levels”.

Newsletter editor-in-chief Rabbi Rubin brings his extensive prior writing experience in such journals as the Jewish Tribune etc. to bear on this project. The Rabbinical Forum‘s fledgling issue is due for publication in a month.
